Costa Daurada Trophy second edition

The COSTA DAURADA TROPHY econd edition is just around the corner.

From November 12 to 14 we will be able to enjoy the best women’s football at the Futbol Salou Sports Complex. This year, the tournament is contested between the French U19 Women’s National Team and the Belgian U19 Women’s National Team. The game, the excitement and the fun are guaranteed.

The Belgian team debuts for the first time in this tournament with great desire and enthusiasm. They played his first international match on May 30, 1976 against the French women’s soccer team. This year they face their first rival, France, again in the Costa Daurada Trophy U19WNT. This tournament will help Belgium to train for the European Under-19 championship. Belgium will host the final tournament of the 2023 UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship from 18-30 July. It will be the first time that the Royal Belgian Football Federation has organized a UEFA women’s final tournament.

The French team, on the other hand, repeats its participation after being runner-up in the previous edition of the Costa Daurada Trophy against Spain. This year, through friendlies and tournaments, the French players will face several teams, with different playing styles and techniques, with one goal: to be ready for the European Championship.
