The Belgium women’s soccer team played its first international match on May 30, 1976 against the France women’s soccer team. This year they face their first rival, France, again in the Costa Daurada Trophy U19WNT.
This tournament will help Belgium to train for the European Under-19 championship. Belgium will host the final tournament of the 2023 UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship from 18-30 July. It will be the first time that the Royal Belgian Football Federation has organized a UEFA women’s final tournament.
